With my arrival in Puerto Rico, in 2010 I visualized the necessidad to continue growing professionally in the field of Health, specifically and to continue growing professionally in the field of Health in Mental Health. Optimizing quality in the health services that we provide daily to our patients on the Island. The influence that I brought as a Doctor Surgeon in South America, has created a more centralized approach in comprehensive care and Bio Psychosocial from the patients. This increased my interest in continuing to study and grow my professional career in the area of Mental Health with the highest quality standards required at the state and federal levels.
In addition to being a Doctor, I have a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from the Ana G Méndez University System in Puerto Rico. I have worked as a teacher in the area of Health for various institutions Local educational universities, various certifications and work experiences and volunteering that have allowed me to nurture my career to provide patients with the service they deserve. I am part of a very special Puerto Rican family, which I love and treasure with life, I have learned to love and delight myself with Puerto Rican gastronomy, to dance fully, to enjoy exquisite walks through the Morro, to compare the wonderful beaches of the south with those of my beloved Venezuela, and to respect and want to provide the best service to the Caribbean and Hispanic population with the same quality of service with which I was trained.
I provide psychotherapeutic care to individuals and families, to migrant families in the US, and to families with a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder, so that they can develop their potential and achieve greater family or individual functioning. I also feel very proud with my family and it makes us very happy, to be volunteers of an international non-profit organization dedicated to sharing spiritual truths and practical guides based on the Bible to be better parents and individuals in society.
